Sunflower Lanyard Scheme
At the Students' Union, we are involved with the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme, supporting those with hidden disabilities. You can get in touch with our reception if you would like to request a sunflower lanyard at [email protected] or via our website live chat function in the bottom left corner of your browser.
AccessAble is an organisation that provides you with the accessibility information you need to work out if a place is going to be accessible for you. Their Detailed Access Guides tell you all about a venue's access and they have created various guides for buildings on campus.
Check them out via these links here:
- Bramber House
- Arts: Building A, Building B, Building C
- Jubilee Building
- Fulton Building
- and many more...
We’re also working on creating a more responsive map on Google Maps to show the best ways around campus. Check back here for more information soon.
Accessing Falmer House - your Union building
AccessAble also has a guide for Falmer House, your Students’ Union building.
You can make contact with your Students with Disabilities Part-time Officer, Matt Pritchard, at: [email protected]
External to the Students’ Union, you can also get in touch with the University's Student Support Unit. They have a team of specialist Disability Advisors and administrators providing confidential information and advice to current and future students on disability-related study support and accessing disability-related funding.
