The University has just launched a survey into racial equality on campus, and all students and staff are invited to share their views.
As a Students’ Union already committed to Anti-Racism, with our recent work including Sussex Anti-Racist Action (SARA) and the introduction of Race Equity Advocates (formerly the BAME Ambassadors) in six Schools at the University, we strongly encourage you to take the survey.
It’s for all students to fill in, whatever their ethnicity or background. The University will be donating to the Black and Minority Ethnic Young People's Project (BMEYPP), a local charity, each time a certain number of surveys are completed. The survey is part of the University’s aim to address racial inequalities at Sussex, including working towards an application for Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter Mark.
