On Wednesday 21st October 2020 Decolonise Sussex are pleased to host three British zine publications in an engaging panel discussion with time for an audience Q&A as we celebrate UK Black History Month. Zines invited are Tough Cookie Mag, Sweet-Thang Zine and The Salon Zine.
Explore the richness and diversity of Black British identity and find out how zine culture is allowing Black British women to carve out their own lane whilst empowering and inspiring their readers. Often tackling stigmatised subjects these zines offer intimate spaces for minority voices to express pain, joy, and gladness.
We encourage you to buy all three zines to show support and ensure that these small publications continue to thrive. All three are beautifully crafted unique texts combining words, illustrations, and photographs and all are compelling reads. Links are below!
This event costs only £3 - please register and buy your ticket below. You will be able to buy your ticket up until 6pm on the day of the event.

The Zoom link will be emailed out on the day to ticket-holders about an hour before the event!
