About Rugby Union Men
University of Sussex Men's Rugby Union.
Who are we?
We are a friendly, diverse, and passionate club that welcomes individuals of all abilities. We pride ourselves on forging friendships and building bonds, both on and off the pitch.
What do we do?
We train on Monday and Friday evenings, with games on Wednesday afternoons. We have 3 competitive BUCS teams, and a 4th development team. We also provide 02 touch on Thursday's- a casual session focused on fun that allows anyone to join in.
We also partake in charity events throughout the year, most notably the Brighton half-marathon every February, raising over £15,000 last year for the RFU Injured Players Foundation.
Proud recipients of the club of year award for 3 consecutive years (2016-19), which reflects our commitment in striving to be the best we can be, both as a society and as individuals.
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
