Northfield Bar

Northfield Bar will not be opening for the start of term. Our decision has been based on ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all students and our staff by focusing our resources within Falmer Bar where we have a considerably larger capacity.

This decision will be reviewed on a regular basis in consultation with our staff and elected officers to ensure we are providing the best and safest service possible to you, our members. When we are in a position to open again, you can look forward to a new improved menu for our cocktail nights.

Thank you for understanding.

Northfield Bar is a shiny, brand-new venue located at the top of campus next to the Northfield residences. It includes a large patio garden that's a total suntrap and is the latest addition to the Students' Union venues.

Open from 11am right through until midnight (1am on Friday and Saturday!); Northfield Bar is the perfect place to grab a coffee during the quieter hours of the day or come for a drink with friends in the evening. Northfield Bar has a wide range of regular events that take place every week with something different every night of the week.

Northfield Bar's open-plan layout, pool table and floor-to-ceiling glass walls also make it perfect for relaxing with friends, society meet-ups or the odd drink or two. We also show live sports across our multiple screens in the evenings and weekends. Please see below for the fixtures or like us on Facebook and Instagram.

Food is served daily from midday with a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options to enjoy.
