We run a number of bars, cafes and shops on campus. Our trading company raises profits to help fund societies, sports clubs, campaigns and student representation. Our outlets are staffed by current Sussex students or recent graduates. Everything we do is by students, for students.
We have a handful of bars on campus, whether you're looking for a chilled drink with friends after lectures, somewhere to watch the football or somewhere to have a dance, we’ve got you covered! All of our prices are student friendly but keep your eyes peeled for our Happy Hour deals too!
We have two physical shops on our campus, The Union Shop, situated down at Falmer House with the rest of our SU services and The Southern Co-operative, located up at Bramber House, right in the middle of campus. Have a look at the Totum Card for 10% off at the Co-op. We've also got an online shop where you'll find the memorabilia you’re after.
Room 76 Cafe
Room 76's cafe counter is closed currently. A selection of hot drinks are available from Falmer Bar. Room 76 is now a takeaway venue for Pearls Bubble Tea, with its own entrance on Gardner Centre Road.
Our services for your event
Need a venue? Our venues only operate to full capacity during University term time, so there are several months of the year they're available to hire. Additionally, we don't just keep our services stuck in one physical location — oh no! We offer catering packages to University departments, clubs and societies. Our catering team are available to book throughout the year. Similarly we also have the ability to offer pop up bars at events such as festivals, parties, welcome drinks and more.
